| In the late 1990s, technical analyst
Kenneth Goodrich began developing a TA formula to help him
locate stocks that exhibit strong seasonal trends. The
concept of seasonality is simple: some stocks and market
sectors follow predictable annual patterns. For example,
energy stocks tend to run in the spring and summer, while
retailers often yield the best returns in the late fall and
winter months.
Seasonality can be charted by weeks, months, or
quarters.
After years of research and testing, Ken's Seasonality
formula is now available to everyone. Co-developed by StockSeasonality.com and Image Pros, Inc., these
powerful online tools are designed to help you locate
stocks that exhibit strong seasonal tendencies
throughout the 12 months of the year. |

If you plan to develop a productive seasonal trading strategy with this software, we recommend you use it to locate at least one profitable stock for each month of the year to keep your money working—and compounding! |

| Enter any stock symbol at left, select the amount of
investment (US $3,000 is the default), and press Calculate
Gains. Our software does the rest. Drawing on five
years of historical quote data, the system will calculate
compounded Dollar Value over
time, determine monthly Power Ratings
and Historical Gains, and
display the data in easy-to-read charts. The User Interface
will also display links for price quotes, news,
fundamentals, and a 2-year candle chart for any stock you
select.
NOTE: To determine if a
stock is truly "seasonal," a minimum of five
years of price data is required. If the symbol you
entered is a newer issue, the software will display a
message directing you to try a different stock symbol. |

The Dollar
Value chart shows you what you would have made over
the last five years from investing on the first day and
selling on the last day of the month that indicates the
highest potential for seasonal gains. Dollar Values shown
are compounded–meaning the investment was repeated
each year, using all of the proceeds generated from the
previous year's trade.
Occasionally there are years when a seasonal stock will
not generate a significant return. Because the
Seasonality system works on compounded returns, total
returns generally make up for the occasional "off
year". A successful trading strategy could also
benefit from placing a 10% stop-loss order to protect
against the unexpected. |

The most important of
all the indicators, the Power Rating tracks
significant performance over the entire five year
period. Each point on the power scale represents compounded
growth of 10%. A stock that has a power rating of 5 for a
specific month has averaged 10% compound growth for that
month over the five years being tracked. Alternatively, a power
rating of 10 indicates that the stock has achieved the
equivalent of at least 10 years of 10% compounded growth in
just five years. Definitely a seasonal winner.
NOTE: A Power Rating of
6 or above for any month of the year indicates a true
"seasonal" stock with a higher degree of
seasonal reliability. |

The Historical
Gains chart provides you with a 12-month breakdown
of gains for all of the years being tracked. Historical
gains help you determine whether the seasonality of a stock
has increased, decreased, or remained constant over time.
For example, Eurotrust A/S (ticker EURO) shows a Power
Rating of 10 for August. Investing $10,000 in EURO each
August from 2001 to 2006 would have earned you $100,000
over the five year period. If you invested in one stock
with this performance for each month of the year, you
would be quite well off. However, looking at EURO's
August performance in recent years shows consecutive
losses. Trends such as this can be spotted with the
gains chart.. |
